নলবাৰী/গুৱাহাটী, ১৭ জানুৱাৰীঃ নিখিল ভাৰত কংগ্ৰেছ কমিটিৰ সভাপতি মল্লিকাৰ্জুন খাৰ্গেৰ বাসগৃহত শুকুৰবাৰে নিশা কংগ্ৰেছৰ শীৰ্ষ নেতৃত্বৰে এক বৈঠকত মিলিত হোৱাৰ পিছত আজি অসমত যথেষ্ট তৎপৰ হোৱা দেখা গৈছে অসম প্ৰদেশ কংগ্ৰেছ কমিটিৰ সভাপতি গৌৰৱ গগৈক। নতুন দিল্লীত লোকসভাৰ বিৰোধী দলপতি ৰাহুল গান্ধীৰ সৈতে আলোচনা সামৰি অসমলৈ আহিয়েই আজিৰে পৰা নামনি অসমত পদযাত্ৰা আৰু অন্যান্য কাৰ্যসূচী আৰম্ভ কৰিছে প্ৰদেশ কংগ্ৰেছৰ সভাপতিজনে। কাইলৈ হাজো-শুৱালকুছি সমষ্টিৰ ভিন্ন স্থানত পদযাত্ৰাকে আদি কৰি একাধিক কাৰ্যসূচীত অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰিব সভাপতি গৌৰৱ গগৈয়ে। প্ৰথমে নলবাৰীৰ শ্ৰীশ্ৰী হৰি মন্দিৰত আশিস লয় সাংসদ তথা প্ৰদেশ কংগ্ৰেছৰ সভাপতিগৰাকীয়ে। তাৰ পিছত তেওঁ পোনে পোনে ৰাজীৱ ভৱনলৈ ৰাওনা হয়। এই সময়তে গৌৰৱ গগৈয়ে কয়, "শিল্পী দিৱস উপলক্ষে নতুন সংকল্প লৈ এখন বৰ অসম গঢ়াৰ সপোন লৈ আজি নলবাৰীত উপস্থিত হৈছোঁ।" তেওঁ কয়, "বৰ অসম গঢ়াৰ স্বাৰ্থত আজি নলবাৰীত উপস্থিত হৈছোঁ। আজি শিল্পী দিৱসৰ দিনা সংকল্প লৈ '২৬ৰ নিৰ্বাচনক লৈ ৰাইজ একত্ৰিত হৈছে। ৰাইজে বৰ অসমৰ সপোন দেখিবলৈ আৰম্ভ কৰিছে। বিজেপিৰ শাসনকালত অপশাসন আৰম্ভ হৈ অসমত এজনৰ ঘৰতেই উন্নতি, এজনৰ ঘৰতেই ধন, বাহুবল সকলো হৈছে। এই সকলোবোৰৰ পৰা ৰাইজে পৰিত্ৰাণ বিচাৰে। আজি ৰাইজৰ সকলো অস্তিত্ব কাঢ়ি ল'ব খুজিছে। যি মাটি অসমৰ খেতিয়কৰ মাজত থাকিব লাগে সেই মাটি আজি বিজেপিৰ নেতাসকলে কাঢ়ি লৈছে। আজি সাধাৰণ ৰাইজক বিতৰণ কৰিবলৈ অনা গৰুবোৰ বিজেপি কৰা লোকসকলে কাঢ়ি লৈ গৈছে। গোহালিৰ পৰা গৰু চুৰি কৰি লৈ গৈ আছে। অসমৰ সাধাৰণ পৰিয়ালৰ ল'ৰা-ছোৱালীক শিক্ষা, সংস্থাপন; চিকিৎসা প্ৰদান, ভূমি সুৰক্ষা প্ৰদান কৰিবলৈ এৰি বিজেপি কৰা সকলকহে সুবিধা কৰি দি আছে। কংগ্ৰেছৰ পৰা বেমাৰী গৈ বিজেপিত সোমাইছে, সেইবোৰ বেমাৰীয়ে বিজেপি দলটোকো দুৰ্বল কৰিব।" সভাৰ অন্তত সাংবাদিকৰে হোৱা বাৰ্তালাপত প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীৰ অসম ভ্ৰমণ সন্দৰ্ভতো গৌৰৱ গগৈয়ে মন্তব্য আগবঢ়ায়। গগৈয়ে কয়, "আজি প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰী অসমলৈ আহিব। প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰীক স্বাগতম জনাইছোঁ। কিন্তু আজি অসমৰ প্ৰধান সমস্যা বানপানী, গৰাখহনীয়া। এই ৭ হাজাৰ কোটি টকা যদি মথাউৰি মেৰামতি কৰিলেহেঁতেন ৰাইজ উপকৃত হ'লহেঁতেন। কাজিৰঙা ক'ৰিডৰ নিৰ্মাণৰ নামত ধূলি-বালি উৰুৱাই বন্যপ্ৰাণীৰ ওপৰত বিৰূপ প্ৰভাৱ আনিব। আজি ৭ হাজাৰ কোটি টকা মথাউৰি নিৰ্মাণ, কৃত্ৰিম বানপানী ৰোধত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিলে সকলো উপকৃত হ'লহেতেন।" তেওঁ আৰু কয়, ''আমি দেখা পাইছো হাইৱে, টোলগেটৰ কামবোৰ বছৰৰ পিছত বছৰ ধৰি চলি আছে৷ এলিভেটেড কৰিডৰৰ কামো বছৰৰ পিছত বছৰ ধৰি চলি থাকিব৷ ধূলি-বালি উৰি থাকিব, শব্দ প্ৰদূষণ হ’ব৷ ইয়াৰ ফলত জীৱ-জন্তুৰ ওপৰত কি প্ৰভাৱ পেলাব, পানীত কি প্ৰভাৱ পেলাব তাৰ ওপৰত কি অধ্যয়ন কৰা হৈছে সেয়া ৰাইজক জনোৱাৰ দৰকাৰ আছিল৷’’ গৌৰৱ গগৈয়ে লগতে জুবিন গাৰ্গক প্ৰকৃত সন্মান প্ৰদানৰ বাবে আহ্বান জনাই কয়, "আজি প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰী অসমলৈ আহিব। যোৱাবাৰ আহোতে তেওঁ জুবিন গাৰ্গৰ নাম এবাৰো নল'লে। জুবিনক্ষেত্ৰলৈ এবাৰো নগ'ল। এইবাৰ অন্ততঃ যাওঁক আৰু আজি শিল্পী দিৱসৰ দিনাই জুবিন গাৰ্গক 'ভাৰতৰত্ন' বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰাৰ কথা ঘোষণা কৰক।" উল্লেখ্য যে পুৱা গৌৰৱ গগৈ নলবাৰীত উপস্থিত হৈয়ে শ্ৰীশ্ৰী হৰিমন্দিৰ দৰ্শন কৰে। তাৰ পিছত তেওঁ নলবাৰীৰ ৰাজীৱ ভৱনলৈ ৰাওনা হয়। য'ত শিল্পী দিৱস উপলক্ষে ৰূপকোঁৱৰ জ্যোতিপ্ৰসাদ আগৰৱালাৰ প্ৰতিচ্ছবিত শ্ৰদ্ধাঞ্জলি জ্ঞাপন কৰে। তাৰ পিছতে নলবাৰীৰত্ন, সাহিত্যাচাৰ্য প্ৰয়াত ডঃ বসন্ত কুমাৰ ভট্টাচাৰ্য্যৰ বাসগৃহলৈ গৈ তেওঁৰ প্ৰতি শ্ৰদ্ধাঞ্জলি জ্ঞাপন কৰাৰ লগতে নলবাৰীৰ নক্ষত্ৰ স্বৰূপ কেবাগৰাকী ব্যক্তিৰ ঘৰত প্ৰৱেশ কৰাৰ পিছতে গৌৰৱ গগৈয়ে টিহু সমষ্টিলৈ প্ৰায় ৭ কিলোমিটাৰ পদযাত্ৰা কৰে আৰু নিৰ্বাচনী সভাত অংশগ্ৰহণ। বিয়লিৰ ভাগত বৰক্ষেত্ৰীতো কেবাটাও অনুষ্ঠানত অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰে প্ৰদেশ কংগ্ৰেছৰ সভাপতি গৌগৱ গগৈয়ে।

▪️ Demand made to the Prime Minister to announce the conferment of the Bharat Ratna on Zubeen Garg on the occasion of Silpi Divas

Nalbari/Guwahati, January 17: After holding a meeting with senior Congress leaders at the residence of All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi on Friday night, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President Gaurav Gogoi has been seen actively engaging in political activities in Assam from today. After concluding discussions with the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, in New Delhi, Gogoi returned to Assam and from today began padayatras and other programmes in Lower Assam.
Tomorrow, APCC President Gaurav Gogoi will take part in several programmes, beginning with padayatras at various locations in the Hajo–Sualkuchi constituency. On arrival in Nalbari, the MP and APCC President first sought blessings at Shri Shri Hari Mandir. Thereafter, he proceeded directly to Rajiv Bhawan. Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Gogoi said, “On the occasion of Silpi Divas, I have come to Nalbari with a new resolve and the dream of building a Bor Asom.”
He further said, “I am here in Nalbari today in the interest of building a Bor Assam. On this Silpi Divas, with renewed determination, the people have united for the 2026 elections. The people have begun to dream of a Bor Asom. Under BJP rule, misgovernance has prevailed—development, wealth and muscle power have been concentrated in the hands of a few. The people want relief from all this. Today, there is an attempt to snatch away every aspect of the people’s existence. Land that should belong to Assam’s farmers is being taken away by BJP leaders. Cattle meant to be distributed among common people are being taken away by BJP workers; cattle are being stolen from cowsheds. Instead of ensuring education, employment, healthcare and land security for the children of ordinary families in Assam, the BJP government is providing benefits only to its own people. Those who left Congress with their ‘ailments’ and joined the BJP will only weaken the BJP as well.”
At the end of the meeting, while interacting with the media, Gaurav Gogoi also commented on the Prime Minister’s visit to Assam. He said, “The Prime Minister is visiting Assam today. We welcome him. But today Assam’s main problems are floods and erosion. Had this ₹7,000 crore been used for repairing embankments, the people would have benefited. In the name of constructing the Kaziranga Corridor, dust and sand will be raised, adversely affecting wildlife. If ₹7,000 crore were spent on embankment construction and preventing artificial floods, everyone would have benefited.”
He further said, “We have seen that highway and toll gate projects continue year after year. Work on elevated corridors will also continue for years. There will be dust pollution and noise pollution. What impact this will have on wildlife and water systems—what studies have been conducted on this—should have been disclosed to the people.”
Gaurav Gogoi also called for proper recognition of Zubeen Garg, saying, “The Prime Minister is visiting Assam today. During his previous visit, he did not mention Zubeen Garg even once, nor did he visit Zubeen Khetra. At least this time, he should go there and announce the conferment of the Bharat Ratna on Zubeen Garg on the occasion of Silpi Divas.”
It may be noted that in the morning, upon arriving in Nalbari, Gaurav Gogoi visited Shri Shri Hari Mandir. Thereafter, he proceeded to Rajiv Bhawan, where he paid floral tributes to the portrait of Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala on the occasion of Silpi Divas. He then visited the residence of Nalbariratna, literary figure late Dr. Basanta Kumar Bhattacharyya, to pay homage. After visiting the homes of several eminent personalities of Nalbari, Gaurav Gogoi undertook a nearly 7-kilometre-long padayatra towards the Tihu constituency and participated in an election meeting. In the afternoon, APCC President Gaurav Gogoi also took part in several programmes in Barkhetri.
